Feel l'm going back to Aberdaron somethings telling me l must go home.
If they sound like the opening lyrics to a well known 60s song you would be right. This was a cover version by a local Aberdaron group, for me and mine it could not be more apt Aberdaron has been my second home for 44 years.
Aberdaron is the most westenly point of North Wales often called the landsend of Wales.
Aberdaron and the Lleyn Penisulla is the most beautiful and unspoilt and peaful place l know. It has sandy beaches in little coves some with sand that whistles when you walk upon it, historic churches, great fishing and horseriding. Steam trains that take you back to a bygone era and The Snowdonia National Park
It has great holiday accomadation whether it is a hotel, traditional cottage or camping and caravan sites, there is something to suit all tates and budgets. The area also houses some fine restaurants serving local produce, meat and fish.
For great places to stay see below.
